For some, there may be questions as to whether or not certain bulbs are better than others or if there is a difference between them at all. This is understandable as the average consumer may not exactly be all that sure of the various differences between bulbs or even care. While there are many excellent flashlight bulbs on the market one of the very best would be the white light LED bulb. These types of flashlight bulbs are incredibly important for those who work in the dark of night where the need for a deeply illuminating flashlight is critical.

There are a number of benefits to a high powered LED not the least of which being the fact that they can illuminate an area that is a significant distance away from the flashlight. However, there are a number of other benefits that these flashlights offer with one of the most important being the cost saving effectiveness of the LED bulb’s shelf life.
The term “lost in the wilderness” is often employed as a colloquial expression to describe someone who is completely out of his or her element. The phrase is derived from the simple truth that people literally DO become lost in the wilderness on a regular basis for a number of reasons. Whether an experienced outdoorsman or a casual camper, getting lost is a reality. Preparation and education are therefore necessary and vital.

Nick Holonyak is credited with developing the modern day LED, the innovative bulb that can be used and improved upon for applications in the areas of outdoor equipment,
