For most precincts and response teams, funding training for officers and staff is hard to do. It is not always financially feasible to send qualified men and women to the training seminars they need when they occur in different cities or states. The 2008 Safety WebExpo and Conference has been created for just such professionals in these situations. The online conference will take place Thursday, May 8, 2008 from 9am – 5pm ET. Attendees can watch webcasts and even attend a trade show all from the comfort of their office.

The new U.S. $5.00 Bill was put into circulation on March 13, 2008. The US Treasury updated the bill to make it safer and more secure than its predecessor. These new bills are harder to fake and much easier for store owners, banks and the government to check for authenticity.
An ultraviolet flashlight is an outright essential for those professionals that check the validity of documents and property. If you work to secure entry to a building and require photo identification of any visitor it is critical to be able to tell whether or not the photo ID is real. Since most photo identifications have watermarks that are visible under ultraviolet light, the use of an ultraviolet flashlight can weed out the frauds in an effort to maintain the safety of personnel in the building.
