Hate Buying Batteries? LED Flashlights to the Rescue
You have probably heard a lot about how much “energy-savings” LED lights provide. But what does that really mean? Does it really affect you in the long run? I think it does. Take LED flashlights as an example. Your standard police or camping flashlight that uses incandescent light bulbs will go through 17 bulbs and 80 batteries over the course of 200 hours of use. Sounds standard, right? I mean, we all have had to replace the batteries in our flashlights multiple times over the course of the summer. But compare that to an LED flashlight, like LED Lenser. The same flashlight that utilizes an LED bulb will go through 8 batteries and 1 LED bulb over a 200 hour period of use.
Can you say whoa? That is such a huge amount of energy savings and dollar savings. Think of the batteries you WON’T have to buy just by replacing your home and recreational flashlights with LED versions.
