LED Lenser’s Quick-Cycle Switch System
The people at LED Lenser know what the professionals need in a hand-held light. Their new line of high-performance flashlights for professionals showcases new technology made specifically to provide the convenience and versatility needed by the military and rescue workers around the world. One of their great innovations in this space is the Quick-Cycle Switch System featured on many of their new flashlights and torches.
The patent-pending Quick-Cycle Switch gives the owner quick lighting options with the click of a button. Three lighting output levels can be achieved in one light – a low-beam, a high-beam and a max-beam.
Low-output light, the type best suited for reading drivers licenses, checking paperwork, reading or personal inspections, is achieved by fully pressing and releasing the switch one time. High-output light is considered the standard light output for these flashlights and is achieved by pressing and releasing the switch twice. This light is about 75% of the maximum output light. This allows you to save the battery life of the flashlight when max light is not needed. Maximum out put can be achieved at any time by pressing and holding the button down. There are a half dozen or so of the new LED HP line, like the X7 Flashlight (pictured above) that have this great feature.
