Not all flashlights have the same use or function. Sure, flashlights are designed to illuminate a particular area but when you get into the complexity of law enforcement flashlights you add a number of additional dimensions and potential needs. States like Arkansas and Missourri are experiencing severe flooding situations after last week’s storms.  Flooding causes incredible damage to property and strands people in such a way to be potentially deadly.  Many don’t consider that fire danger can actually be a by-product of a flooding catastrophe.

Although they are not as popular or as easy to find as your typical flashlight, there are a number of fine red LED tactical flashlights on the market from some quality brands that come in a number of model sizes and variations.  Red LED tactical flashlights are useful for a number of reasons, most importantly to help preserve night vision. Red lights do not cause the pupil in the eye to constrict when they are turned on, enabling whoever is using the light to maintain wider lenses, and better vision in the dark.

The Glock Tactical Light is a unique innovation that has proven quite revolutionary in the security world.
